good news. The down side is the creation of the "Sandwich
Generation"—the middle generation who may have children
needing their help and older parents also in need of
assistance.

One of the most important
tasks is bookkeeping: making certain that income is
received, bills are paid on time, important papers are
stored in a safe place and assets are accounted for. This
may be done while looking after their own children and
household and, in many instances, working. The stress can
lead to emotional upheaval and physical exhaustion.
There is help! Founded more
than 25 years ago, Beck Business Services has extensive
experience in bookkeeping, income tax preparation and
secretarial services.
These services can help the
middle generation by relieving them of part their
responsibilities so they can handle other important tasks
for their parents or relative. All work is confidential and
consultations are available.
If the older individual is
still able to handle his/her individual accounting, I
periodically offer a small class on personal bookkeeping and
paperwork. Once the initial class is through, I am available
for consultations via phone.
This enables the person to
maintain control over that aspect of their life and
contributes to their well- being.
In addition to helping
individuals, I can assist organizations as I offer speaking
engagements dealing with elder care.
